Public-Private Partnership Enabling Legislation

This section of the Clearinghouse website provides onward links to the Legislation content area of the Federal Highway Administration's (FHWA's) Public-Private Partnership (PPP) website. The FHWA PPP website provides comprehensive coverage of legislative issues pertaining PPPs, including summaries of and onward links to PPP legislation in the 23 U.S. States and one U.S. territory that have enacted legislation enabling the use of PPPs in the development of transportation improvements. This FHWA PPP website features an interactive map showing the states and territories with PPP legislation. Selecting a state from the map provides users with access to: 1) Links to the state's PPP statues; 2) brief summaries of its PPP legislation; and 3) a checklist, reviewing how the State has addressed 28 key elements for PPP enabling legislation for highway projects.
